The manual ageing process does not prevent the natural oxidation of the metal, which, if exposed to the elements, may be subject to natural tarnishing. Our products are not self-cleaning, therefore, if exposed to salt or other corrosive substances, they should be cleaned with ordinary metal cleaning products. After cleaning, the products should reassume the typical patina of aged brass.
